I'm sure you've been there. Probably done that. You know what I mean. Been asked a dumb question which then deserves a rhetorical answer.
Things like....
(while watching me make spaghetti for dinner): What are we eating tonight?
Uh, chicken?
(pouring rain outside): Is it raining today?
Um, of course not.
It's sunny.
(snowing): Do we need to wear boots? Nope. Be cold and wet.
(while AG has a snack): Can I have a snack too?
Nope! Only 7 year olds can have a snack today.
(while watching me make cookies): What are you doing? Uhhhh.....eating cereal.
You get the picture.
So tonight, Abby said to me.....
"I don't like your stupid answers."
Huh?
Well mom, when I ask, "Can I color (when AG is too) and you say NO, that is a stupid answer."
Nope, that is a rhetorical, don't ask mom because it's dumb, kind of answer.

If I was a fly on your wall I would probably die from laughing....
Hope you are having a great week!
Love and blessings,

We have one, standard answer to those types of what-are-you-doing questions in our house: "I'm baking a cake."
Stops 'em in their tracks every time. Of course, then they wanna eat cake...
Teresa =)
Oh my. Jadyn does this same thing. It can be exasperating at times, depending on what mood she catches me in.
Ha ha!! I love Teresa's answer for this. I should try it.
Oh boy. Try to keep your sanity through it all. :)
Even worse than answering the dumb question is answering the same question at least 4 different times. My children love to ask me the same question over and over again.
Blessings,
Regina
Haha, I do that all the time! Then I get the "are you serious"? look.
Oh, what a relief to know I'm not the only one who does that :)
done that here- as well! Surprised it is not AG! Maybe My AG has both of your girls silliness!
