It’s been a rough two days.
Our house has been filled with short-tempered, sullen, uncooperative, and cranky people.
Why?
We haven’t had internet service. For thirty-six hours.
I thought I was going to go through computer withdrawal. The big kids came to terms with it and moved on throughout the evening. They complained, but not as loudly as I.
No email. No blogs. No Facebook.
I didn’t think I’d be able to claw my way to the surface again.
But I survived.
Maybe I need to join Computers Anonymous……

I probably shouldn’t point out that I’m blogging this in the bathroom while the girls take a bath, huh?

Oh and I thought I was bad!!!!!
That is funny!
Too Funny....I am heading out for the weekend and don't know when I will be able to get on the computer. I'll miss you my friend...see you Sunday!
Scary! I'd go into withdrawal too and not know what to do with myself.
Well I'm glad you're back online!
oh that is where yoy have been!
If I went that long without internet, I'd go to Starbucks!!! They have free WiFI if you have a Starbucks Gold Card. (Did you hear that? The angels just sang!) I get upset if my internet goes out for a few hours. No way I could last days!
Too funny! I would feel exactly as you did...knock on wood it hasn't happened yet!
And I've been known to blog in the bathroom while my boys are bathing too!
Congrats on surviving without your Internet 'fix'! LOL Just as an FYI, if you have (or one of the teens has) one of the newer IPODS or a PSP in the house, you can access the Internet from those (quick trip to a Starbucks for WiFi!). Also, it may be time to get a Crackberry...I am heading out to get mine today! :-)
I told you on Facebook, God rest your soul!!
lol!! That's one I haven't tried, taking the laptop in while L bathes! Hmmmm....
I'm having posting problems on my blog, and it's driving me NUTS not to be able to post like I want. Wah...
Sounds like you're definitely addicted. Have you heard ... psychiatrist are trying to define Internet Addiction as a "mental illness"? Seriously.
Have you read my blog post from Thursday night. You'd better check it out. I actually thought of you, and this post, while I wrote it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one headed to the mental hospital. I wonder if they'll let us keep our laptops there?
