Double Bubble Trouble

Daddy is so good at bathtime. He plays, makes funny hair with shampoo or bubbles, and is generally silly....until he starts getting wet from too much fun.

Me, no way. I am all into "get in, get clean, get out". No nonsense, no nothing. Bathtime is not my thing. Of course, neither is bedtime but I digress.

I may not be a helper but I can be an enabler. I contribute to the madness joy by purchasing bubbles. I don't do it a lot but couldn't resist on my last visit to Wally World.

Finally, proof that I can be a good mommy:

Hee hee! I love this picture! So cute. :) That does look like double trouble.
With Jadyn's tendency toward dry skin and eczema, we don't do bubbles too often either. I feel bad about that.
Our daddy is more "fun" at bedtime and such than I am. I'm usually tired and not as patient by that time of day.
He does most of the bedtime ritual. It works for us.

My kids can't see this post or they'll be bugging me forever more to buy them bubbles!

Too cute...
For some reason my boys don't love bubbles in the water but I turn on the bubbble machine (that is usually an backyard summertime toy) and aim it into the bath and they love it.

Andrew is still in my lap and said I want to get in there in his 3 year old voice-he said I am allowed to! had to tell you it was funny!
I love those types of bathtubes! I have a picture of the two oldest kids in one when we had our old house!

Help, those girls are being swallowed by Mr. Bubble!!!! lol...
I'm a get in/get out kinda bather too. Which is why I ask my older daughters to do it much of the time. Bad mommy...

Donna,
I do the same thing!! I have even been known to pay Katie just to get out of bathtime.

I am definitly not a fun bath time mommy. Too many little heads that need washing. :) But you have raised the bar, and I might have to kcik up the coolness factor a notch and run out and get me some Mr. Bubble(does that even still exist?)

Hugs~
