Tales of an Absent Blogger

I hear the cries….where are you (echo, echo)? Nah, just kidding. Yes, I am here but there’s just not much to report. Life has slowed down since Christmas. Well, slowed down is the wrong phrase but I didn’t think you would want a post about

*how Anna Grace is still pitching major fits at bedtime

*how Abby fell off the couch (AGAIN!) because she can't figure out how to sit still

*how I got the kids computer fixed only to find out the monitor has gone bad

*how I have piles of laundry in my room just begging to be folded (I have heard them beg. Really, I have!)

*how I still haven’t mailed my Christmas cards (but they are going out today!)

*how the little ones are sleeping until 7:45 (boy, do I dread next week)

*how I can’t believe I go back to work on Monday (see above)

*how I took the girls shopping by myself yesterday (never again—unless I have duct tape)

*how I just got five new books at the library (but can I finish them before school starts?)

*how the teens have been sleeping half the day (oh will school be hard for them!)

See? Nothing very exciting. So I shall just leave you with this:

From our family to yours…….blessings for an amazing 2009!!
Happy New Year!

---------------------------------------------------------
I will be busy the next few days so may not be around. I’ll update you when I have time. It’s all good, I promise! My first hurdle though is conquering a fear. More to come…..

My kids sleep in late too. But Timmy outsleeps the older two. He can sleep at least 11 hours sometimes..just not on school days. He loves school too much to sleep in.

I hope your Anna Grace gets settled in at bedtime better for you soon. I don't know if she is scared of the dark, Timmy is, and he has a Living Aquarium, that is a plug in with lights and fish that move like they are swimming. I turn it off when he falls asleep.

Happy New Year..don't think about next week yet!

I would have welcomed a post about any of those topics...though many of them do sound like things I could be writing about too.
Good luck with conquering your fear! And Happy New Year!

Teens sleeping half the day, ummm, yeah, we have that phenomon (sp?) here to! It's 12:30 here and they are just getting up! Good grief, wish I could sleep like that.

Happy New Year!

Hugs,
Carla
