Beep, beep, beep....

We interrupt your regular blog reading to bring you the following announcement:

Well, not really but this may explain my absence today.

Alex and I headed back to the game store to exchange his game which I evidently purchased last year for Christmas as well. Yep, I am old.

He thought he wanted to check out Rock Band, which I really almost purchased the other day. Since I was returning a Guitar Hero game, it made sense to me.

We lucked out and found a deal on the drum set. We already have two guitars so really only needed the drums. And microphone but that’s not a necessitiy.

So here’s been our day

And Katie’s funky shots

No, I have not been there all day but I have to admit it’s fun! I’m terrible at the drums but better at the guitar on this game vs Guitar Hero (all on the easy level of course).

In the meantime, daddy has been ever vigilant at playing games with the little ones.

We now return you to your regular blog reading……

And, I still have not mailed my Christmas cards. Been too busy with other things. :-) Whoops!!

Oh, and I just realized I started this blog one year ago today!! Two more posts and I'm up to number 200. Wow.

My boys have Guitar Hero but I've never played. I have played Wii Sports last night and today though. I even beat Ross in boxing! I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow!

Hey Rock Mama,

I bet you guys had fun today. I love those days when you can lounge around the house and play. Especially with this nice rainy day. As usual, the days are escaping us and you leave soon. Lets plan something when you get back. We should schedule it now and refuse to cancel :)

I wish we had drums. I don't think the guitar is for me though my kids really didn't allow me to try it out for very long. I may have to sneak a few songs in tonight after I send them to bed early. Then again, I am too tired this morning from playing my daughter's Webkins games... they are more on my level anyway.

Stick those kiddies on the plane to visit me... I love kids... they will have fun here for sure...
A noisy house doesn't bother me at all... I grew up with 2 sisters and an older brother and I have (through marriage)1 Great Niece and 4 nephews 9,15,30 and 32... then back in OZ I have 3 nieces 2 who are 5yrs and an 11yr and 3 boys there too 5, 7 and 8... so as you can see... I can handle it...
Can't think of the Monty Python movie but I do LOVE Michael Palin and his shows 'Ripping Yarns' (you can find them on 'You Tube' - so funny...
